About CorgiTalk
CorgiTalk is an early-stage Korean learning web service for English-speaking beginners getting ready for a trip to Korea. Instead of grammar lessons, you follow a travel route and learn the Korean each moment of the trip asks for.

Stage 1 · Arrival hall
Start Reading Hangul
Recognize six vowel shapes in airport words and say hello out loud.
Stage 2 · Airport concourse
Read Travel Words
Read airport, entrance, exit, bus, and subway signs as whole words.
Each mission has lesson cards, practice questions (including listening questions), and a speaking step. Korean audio comes from your browser's built-in Korean voice. The speaking check uses your browser's speech recognition where it is available (usually Chrome, Edge, and Safari). If it is not, you can listen, say the phrase yourself, and mark it as said.
Limits: audio quality depends on your device, and the speaking check only confirms that the phrase was recognized. It is not a pronunciation score.
Still in development
- Stages 3 to 8: station platform, hotel desk, small restaurant, neighborhood street, tourist site, on the move.
- Personal accounts. Today, cloud sync is only available through shared demo profiles for testing.
- Email updates when new stages open.
Talk to Bori (practice mode)
Talk to Bori is a short restaurant role-play. Right now it uses prepared replies. AI replies powered by Anthropic's Claude are being set up and will be labeled "AI beta" when they are on.
How CorgiTalk is made
We use Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, in our development workflow for coding and for drafting lesson content, and the operator decides what is published. Lessons are fixed, reviewed content, and audio and speech checks run in your browser.
Bori, our corgi guide, is an original character. Bori's images are created with AI image tools.
