Every stage follows the same three steps and takes about 10 minutes. You can stop anytime; your progress waits in this browser.

  1. 1

    Hear it

Tap any Korean word to hear it spoken. A romanized hint helps on day one, then steps aside as you learn the letters.

    아

sounds like the a in “father”

  2. 2

    Read it

Find the same sounds in words you will really see: 출구 on the exit, 안내 at the information desk, 버스 at the bus stop.

  3. 3

    Use it

Say 안녕하세요 out loud and get a quick check in your browser. Then order a whole meal in Korean with Bori.

Questions before you start

Something else on your mind? Email hello@corgitalk.com. A real person reads every message.

Is CorgiTalk free?
Yes. Everything is free during the beta. If paid features ever arrive, they will be clearly marked, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.
Where is my progress saved?
In this browser on this device. Close the tab whenever you like and pick up where you left off.
I can't read any Korean yet. Is that okay?
That is exactly where Stage 1 starts. You learn six vowel sounds, hear every word, and read your first airport signs in about 10 minutes. Romanized spellings help at first, but the goal is reading Hangul itself.
Who is Bori, and is it AI?
Bori is CorgiTalk's corgi guide. In Talk to Bori, Bori currently answers with prepared replies. AI conversation powered by Claude, Anthropic's AI model, is coming soon and will be clearly labeled.
Do you keep what I say or type?
No. The speaking check uses your browser's built-in speech service, and CorgiTalk never records or stores audio. Please don't type personal information. The Privacy Policy has the details.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. CorgiTalk works in your phone's browser with nothing to install. Audio uses your browser's Korean voice; Chrome, Edge, and Safari usually include one. The speaking check works best in Chrome.
Who makes CorgiTalk?
CorgiTalk is made by CHRIS DAY, an independent one-person business in Korea. Read more on the About page.
